I asked him to marry me, and he said yes. After a little over 2 and a half years, plenty of mountainous terrain and a lot of love and laughter, we’re going to get married. We’ll probably do this on the mountain, during a run, but I’ll keep you posted on that.
The story that evolved over the past month or two, the one that resulted in the leap year proposal and me on one knee at the dinner table, is a very personal one and I agreed not to write about it. For those that want the other details; yes, I asked his mother’s blessing and yes, I bought him a ring. It was a beautiful moment in my life, and in his, and we can’t wait to run on together. The kids are stoked.
I love you Quinton Walker.
